Custom Sizing Guide

Sizing

Custom sizing is available on request. This guide explains when it makes sense, how the process works, and how to get in touch.

Most people do well with a standard set, so read on to find out where you sit before reaching out.

Standard sizing works for most people

Our standard size sets are designed to fit a wide range of fingers well for sensation play. Tightly fitted Claws enhance the experience, and for most people our standard sizes achieve this without any customisation.

It is also worth knowing that finger size varies naturally throughout the day. If you measure your fingers at different times you are likely to find at least a few millimetres of variation in your own body. A measurement that sits a little off from our Size Calculator is often within normal range. It is also common to swap Claws between fingers during a session, so a precise per-finger fit matters less than you might expect.

If you are new to our Claws, we encourage you to try a standard size set as your first purchase. This gives you the opportunity to try them on and exchange them if needed. You can also note which, if any, feel particularly well fitted and use those size codes as a reference for any future order.

Note on exchangesStandard sets are eligible for exchange. Custom orders are not. Choosing a standard set keeps your options open if you want to adjust after trying them.

When custom sizing makes sense

There are two situations where a custom set is genuinely the right choice.

Repeat customers wanting a precise adjustment. The strongest case for custom sizing is someone who has used our Claws multiple times and wants a minor tweak to turn a good fit into a perfect fit. In this case the sizes are usually specified using the size codes found on each Claw (see below), which gives us a precise starting point.

Fingers that fall outside our standard size range. If your fingers are notably smaller or larger than our standard sets cover, custom sizing is worth exploring. We will review your measurements and let you know whether a custom set is the right call.

For cosplay wear, we recognise that a looser fit is often more comfortable for extended use, and that stability on the finger matters less than for sensation play. Standard sizes frequently work well for cosplay too, so we still recommend starting there.

How the custom sizing process works

Custom sizing is not available as a direct purchase. Contact us first and we will work through your measurements together before any order is placed.

  1. 1Measure your fingersReview the Size Calculator and measure each finger carefully.
  2. 2Email us your measurementsSend them to support@clawsandclamps.com.au.
  3. 3We review and recommendIn many cases we suggest a standard set, which keeps your options open for exchange.
  4. 4Quote and confirmIf a custom set is confirmed, we quote the total: a file creation fee applies on top of the Claw cost. Some styles carry an additional charge.
  5. 5Made to orderCustom Claws are not eligible for return or exchange.
Heads upWe review all measurements before confirming a custom order. We receive some measurements that could not correspond to a human hand, and catching this early protects everyone. Please measure carefully using our sizing guide.

Size codes on your existing Claws

If you already own a set of our Claws, look near the fingernail on each Claw for an embedded size code. These codes identify the exact size of that Claw and are the clearest way to specify adjustments when ordering a custom set based on a previous purchase.

Referencing your existing size codes gives us a precise, verified starting point and generally makes the custom order process much smoother.

Not sure if you need custom sizing?

Start with our Size Calculator. Most people find this is enough to choose a standard size set with confidence.

If you have measured carefully and are still uncertain, send us your measurements and we will give you our feedback. We are happy to help you work out whether a standard set will suit before you commit to anything.
